The Endangered Species Act of 1973 was enacted by Congress to provide a means to identify, locate, document, and protect species that are listed as threatened and endangered. Rare plant and animal species are often adversely affected by new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial activities. Aquatic Engineering’s staff is available to assist clients in achieving compliance with the federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to threatened and endangered species issues.
